Wow I have had a fair amount happen this weekend....

Started off spending the weekend at jackis place. We went to a birthday party that was off the hook. Oh ya there were pics....That is all I have to say about that...LOL

And Jackis dress and thigh highs...OMG. Wars have started over stuff like that

But Saturday morning we went to Cracker Barrel for Breakfest. I sat there and saw a man with a patched ball hat. The patch looked like one I had seen before. Sure enough he ws a WW2 Vet from the 9th Armored Division. Well I stoped my waitress adn told her "I want that mans meal on my ticket...He is a Vet"

Come to find out he is one of 133 surviving members of his Divison and they were here for a reunion. He did not know it was me untill I spoke to him and told him thank you for everything he had done.

See no matter how we feel about war...or politics....or.....or.....It IS the soldier that ensures our freedoms. He is the man (or woman) that puts their ass on the line and shoulders a rifle and laces up a pair of boots.

He told me about running tanks in WW2 and how to aim they had to crank them, not input data in a counputer like they do now.

You know I did not buy his meal looking for a thanks or for anything really. I dont know how many Vets I let in to Rein Fest free....Just as a simple thank you

It is a Universal secret...if you give someone something with out ANY intent or care for what you will get out of it.....You WILL get a shit load out of it.

We then spent the weekend looking for a foot for my sewing machine, ham for ham and beans, and skull lights.

I did find a cool Raven on a skull with the words Nevermore....

It was a good weekend
